Thibaut Courtois, Real Madrid and Belgian Goalkeeper was not included in Belgium’s 25-member Squad for Euro 2024, which will be held in Germany on June 15.
Courtois suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury before the start of the season in August. However, he returned to the Los Blancos side against Cadiz this month. But he will not be a potential starter in the UEFA Champions League final, while Real Madrid will face Borussia Dortmund on June 2. Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti keeps faith in Andre Lunin, who is having an excellent performance in the absence of Thibaut Courtois.
As expected, Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruyne and Jeremy Doku, alongside Roma’s Romelu Lukaku and Arsenal’s Leandro Trossard got their names in the 25-member squad.
