Bangladesh to play a warm-up match against India before the T20 World Cup. The match will be held at Eisenhower Park in New York on June 1.

The 34,000-seater venue is ready to host the warm-up match between the two neighbours, which was officially launched by Usain Bolt, the world’s fastest man and ambassador of the T20 World Cup this year.

New York will host eight of the 16 matches while Dallas and Texas each will host four matches in the T20 World Cup. India will play three matches in New York during the main tournament and most importantly they will play against Pakistan the same in New York, which will be held on June 9.

However, Bangladesh will play just one match in New York against South Africa while the other three matches will be played one in Texas and two in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

The Eisenhower Park pitches are made of drop-in pitches, which have been prepared by Adelaide Oval Turf Solutions, which is led by the Adelaide Oval head curator Damian Hough. The outfield of the venue was made by LandTek Group, which is a USA-based turf-making company. They prepared playing surfaces for the USA baseball teams like the New York Yankees and New York Mets, and have also built football ground turf for the USA Major League Soccer Club Inter Miami.
