Spanish club Barcelona was previously interested in signing Xavi Simons in the upcoming season. Now both Bayern Munich and Arsenal have shown interest in Xavi Simons for his excellent performance throughout the season.
The 21-year-old is a top performer with the ball in the Bundesliga. He scored 9 goals and 13 assists in all competitions with RB Leipzig. Hence he is shortlisted by many European top clubs.
The Netherlands star is currently owned by France’s side PSG. They purchased the player from Barcelona back in 2019. After playing just 11 matches, PSG sold him to
PSV Eindhoven in 2022 and then purchased once again in 2023, currently on loan at RB Leipzig where he has found his potential comeback.
As per reports, Arsenal and Bayern Munich are in the race to sign him. However, PSG wants 60m Euro for the winger. His versatility sealed the attention of many clubs because he can play both left and right-wing, offering a team extra support when a player gets injured.
A move to Barcelona may happen. They are keen eyes on Xavi Simons as he spent nine years in Barcelona’s youth system.
