German giants Bayern Munich have agreed to hire Vincent Kompany as their new manager. The former Belgian defender will take charge in this summer season.
After Thomas Tuchel stepped down, Bayern Munich failed to convince Xabi Alonso, Julian Nagelsmann and Ralf Rangnick for their next manager. They also failed to convince Tuchel to stay on.
But now they found someone who will replace Thomas Tuchel in Bayern’s dugout.
The German giants have agreed to pay Vincent Kompany between €10m and €12m with a three-year contract at the Allianz Arena.
Kompany was a manager of Burnley in the Premier League and he played for Man City as well. He has vast knowledge about the Bundesliga, having turned out for Hamburg for two years before his switch to Manchester City in 2008.
Man City boss Pep Guardiola currently expresses that Vincent Kompany will be back as Manager to Man City in the future.
”I’d love Bayern to take the best decision. I love that club. I’m in love with Bayern Munich for many many reasons. Hopefully take the best decision, if they believe Vinny is the right decision, for Munich they will have a guy to support unconditionally. But for sure he will come back to City as manager in the future.
