Brazil faces a massive problem before the Copa America. Emerson Moraes, Brazil and Manchester City Goalkeeper is to miss Copa America due to an eye injury. He will be replaced by Sao Paulo Goalkeeper Rafael.

Ederon was injured against the Tottenham match last Wednesday at Hotspur Stadium. When he collided with Tottenham’s Argentine defender Cristian Romero during the match and fractured his eye socket sustain.

So Allison, Bento and Rafael will be the protectors of the Brazil goalpost. Despite Rafael’s inclusion in the squad, Brazil announced three other names for the Copa America. CONMEBOL also decided to increase the number of players who can join the squad before 15 June.

As a result, Brazil expanded the squad members from 23 to 26, calling up Bremer (Juventus), Ederson (Atalanta) and Pepe (Porto).

However, Brazil will be fighting Group D in the upcoming Copa America, where they will play against Costa Rica, Colombia and Paraguay.
