India will not play Champions Trophy in Pakistan. Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has given this message directly to ICC. But Pakistan is also adamant about hosting the Champions Trophy at home venue. So India’s participation still remains uncertain.
But PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) has taken initiatives to solve India’s problems. However, Pakistan still does not want to play in the hybrid model. As a result, the problem of India’s participation remained hanging. BCCI wants to play matches in other countries in Champions Trophy as like Asia Cup. But the Pakistan board wants all the matches to be played in that country.
Yesterday PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi’s media talk at Gaddafi Stadium. He said that, “If India has any problem with sending a team to Pakistan, then it should talk to us directly. We will solve that problem. India should have no problem coming to Pakistan.”
