Novak Djokovic wants to play tennis for a long time, just like Tom Brady did in football.
Brady played until he was 45, and Djokovic hopes he can have a career that lasts that long or even longer. He’s learned a lot from Brady about taking care of his body and mind to have a successful career. Djokovic feels great about his tennis and had a fantastic year in 2023, winning three big tournaments. He wants to keep going because he’s still playing really well.
He’s also happy to see young players like Carlos Alcaraz doing well in tennis. Djokovic thinks it’s good for the sport, especially since other great players like Roger Federer have retired, and Rafael Nadal is nearing the end of his career.
Djokovic will play in a tournament in Australia as part of his preparations for the Australian Open. He’s excited about the future and wants to keep playing tennis at a high level for as long as he can.
