Rahul Dravid has confirmed his continuation as India’s head coach until at least the 2024 T20 World Cup, responding to the BCCI’s extension offer.
Taking over in November 2021, Dravid has overseen India’s ascent in Test, ODI, and T20I rankings, despite missing out on ICC titles.
The BCCI’s decision aims to maintain the team structure and prevent disruption that could arise under new coaching. Dravid praised the team’s resilience and stressed the significance of disciplined preparation.

with Dravid’s extension, India’s support staff: Vikram Rathour (batting coach), Paras Mhambrey (bowling coach), and T Dilip (fielding coach) have also been extended.
