The Premier League confirmed the shortlist for 2023/24 Player of the Season nominees. Erling Haaland, Declan Rice, Cole Palmer and others were shortlisted by the Premier League for the Season of the Season award.
Erling Haaland, Manchester City forward is looking for another Player of the Season award. He was nominated as player of the season 2022/23 season. He was impressive from the start of this continuing season but lost form in the middle and now he is back on his own, scoring 25 goals and 5 assists this season.
Phil Foden got the call for the Player of the Season award. He is having an excellent year for Man City, scoring 16 goals and 8 assists. The Citizens dominated the Premier League Player of the Season Award. They won this award in the last four years, Kevin De two and Ruben Dias and Haaland got one.
Martin Odegaard, Arsenal Captain is shortlisted by the Premier League for the Player of the Season award. He is on the way to winning the title of Premier League this season.
Declan Rice, another top performer of Arsenal shortlisted for this award. He began the season as a holding midfielder but later he turned into a box-to-box midfielder, which has helped him to score goals and assists.
Alexander Isak, Newcastle striker is having a dream time this season. He enjoyed an impressive character in front of the goal, scoring 20 goals and 1 assist, this performance rewards him. He is shortlisted for the Premier League Player of the Season award.
Cole Palmer, Chelsea’s midfielder has earned a place on this award list. He arrived from the Etihad to Stamford Bridge without any expectations, but he is now a main man of the Chelsea side. Scored 21 goals and 9 Assists this season.
Virgil Van Dijk, Liverpool captain has also been shortlisted for this prestigious award. He won it in 2018/19 once. Liverpool is not in the race to win the title this season but Virgil is solid in the backline throughout the season.
Ollie Watkins, Aston Villa striker is a top performer in the front of goal. His 19 goals and 12 assists lead Unai Emery’s side to a spot in the top four.
