Germany vs Bosnia: The memory of 7 goals returned after 10 years

Millions of football fans have not forgotten the memory of the 2014 World Cup semi-final. Germany scored 7 goals against Brazil in that match. After almost 10 years, the DFB team brought back the memory of those seven goals. They dismantled visitors Bosnia and Herzegovina 7-0 on Nations League group A3 with a game to spare.

Tim Kleindienst and Florian Wirtz scored a pair of goals in Saturday’s match. The remaining three goals were scored by Jamal Musiala, Kai Havertz, Leroy Sané. Germany will face Hungary in the last match of the group on November 20 at Puskás Aréna Park Stadium in Budapest.

Before the victory against The Germans had already qualified for next year’s quarter-finals of Nations League and they are eager to re-establish themselves as an international force ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

Germany took the lead with in-form Jamal Musiala’s looping header only 90 seconds. In the 23rd minute Tim Kleindienst got first goal and second goal at 79 minute. Kai Havertz send the Ball in the nest in 37 minute after a quick one-two with Wirtz, who bagged couple of goal in this match. Before substitute Leroy Sane made it half a dozen goals for Germany nine minutes later. in the 79 minute Kleindienst slid in to make it 7-0.

After this match Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann said that, “We have no injuries from the game and our counter-pressing was extraordinarily good”

He also told, We wanted to win possession and then quickly play the ball forward, be quick in transition and find those runs, something we did not do often enough at the Euros.

Germany will wrap up their group stage with a trip to Budapest to face Hungary on Tuesday, while Bosnia, sitting bottom with one point, will host group runners-up Netherlands.
