Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has been named Premier League Manager for the 2023-24 Season. This is the fifth time Guardiola has won this award and won the last two in a row.
Fans and an expert panel selected him from the shortlists which included Liverpool’s boss Jurgen Klopp, Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta, Aston Villa’s Unai Emery and Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola.
Guardiola praises all of his competitors in the best managerial lists. “It is an honour to be alongside all of them and to win this trophy. We will defend this award as best as possible in the future.” Guardiola said.
“I want to share it, Especially with Mikel for the incredible job he has done until the last game, bringing us to our limits,”
“Of course, for Jurgen Klopp, for the unforgettable battles for many, many years. And Unai Emery is doing something unbelievable again to bring Aston Villa to the Champions League.”
Manchester United legend manager Sir Alex Ferguson leads the Premier League managerial award, winning 11 most in the premier league history. Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger are also on the list, both of them winning three and just sitting behind Pep Guardiola.
