Azizul Hakim Tamim gave his arrival message in Bangladesh cricket. Under his leadership, Bangladesh won the Under-19 Asia Cup title for the second time in a row. It is known that he is moving forward considering the world’s best all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan as his ideal.

This new Tamim was not a very familiar face in the country’s cricket a few days ago. However, he made his name known in the Youth Asia Cup. The second highest 240 runs of the tournament came from Tamim’s bat. He also took 4 wickets with the ball.

Since then, everyone has been interested in this new Tamim. And so several media of the country reached his house located in Jessore. Where Tamim’s parents and brother spoke to reporters. There are many stories of Tamim becoming a cricketer.

Tamim’s father, madrasa teacher Mohammad Hossain said, ‘Tamim is the youngest among four brothers and sisters. But he has gained fame for the country as a cricketer. As a father it is a matter of pride. Though besides their education, it was quite difficult to afford the extra money for cricket equipment. So I could not always buy them for my son.’

Meanwhile, Tamim’s brother Abu Huraira said that Tamim considers Shakib as an ideal. He said, ‘Tamim’s iconic cricketer is Shakib Al Hasan. Although father’s favorite cricketer is Tamim Iqbal. So he named his son ‘Tamim’. Tamim continued to play sports on his own initiative as he was unable to get admission in Dhaka’s BKSP.’

Currently, Azizul Hakeem Tamim is considered as the future of Bangladesh cricket. Because he has shown great attitude as well as performance. He scored one century and two half-centuries in five matches. Tamim wants to continue to play for the national team.
