The USA and Bangladesh three-match T20 Series will start tomorrow. This is the first time they are going to face each other in International Cricket.
The opening match of the series will be held tomorrow at Prairie View Cricket Complex in Houston, Texas. The match probably starts at 9 pm as per Bangladesh Time, while all of the matches of the series will be held at the same venue.
The second and third matches of the series will be held on May 23 and 25 at Houston. But the two teams again face each other on May 28, an official warm-up match before the T20 World Cup. That means Bangladesh is set to face four consecutive matches in a row.
The series has enough historical value as they face each other for the first time in Cricket. Bangladesh has been playing this format since 2006. They had faced 20 teams in this format, so the USA, the co-host of the T20 World Cup, will be the 21st opponent for Bangladesh in T20 Cricket.
The USA team is formed with migrant players, like India, and Pakistan-origin. But one player from the USA team you may know well. It’s Cory Anderson who played for New Zealand over the years and he was an excellent performer with the ball and bat in the 2015 World Cup, hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
